    The Daily Tanka Thread 2020

This is a showcase for your most recent tanka. Both previously published and unpublished poems are welcome. Keep commentary positive and let us know what poems you enjoy the most. Please acknowledge the provenance of previously published poems. Most of all, enjoy the fine poetry!

You may share up to five of your most recent tanka per day, any topic. This is meant to be a daily share thread and has room for more than just "award winners" so don't be shy about poems that catch a simple moment or heartfelt emotion. The gallery section is meant as a convenient space to share work that you might otherwise post to social media. Previously published work is welcome, but unpublished poems are fine too, with the caveat that editors may not accept submissions that have been posted to a public forum. Consider this an opportunity to publish poems that might not otherwise be seen in the public eye.
